I haven’t ever really shared our story on here, but this fam right here is one I’m immensely thankful for.

To say God built us together is an understatement.

You see, my mom, Sherri, and my dad, David, met when I was 20. My daddy had died a few years earlier of a long fought battle with leukemia (AML), and David’s wife had died a year before that after a hard fought battle with breast cancer. They fell in love hard and fast and our families were married. For us at least, we found that when you love well and lose, you tend to cling fast when you find love like that again. And honestly, when we look at all of the intimate details, we can see how God was working on our behalf to create wholeness and life in the midst of loss and death.

Since then, we’ve all grown up and added spouses and children, houses full….15 favorite grandbabies…2 favorite nieces not pictured because we couldn’t line up their time with us with my brother’s time in Colorado
… someday, we’ll fix this! ♥
