Josh loves Jessica | Ft Collins Wedding Photographer

I’ve been so excited for this wedding! It’s one I’ve hoped to be a part of since I was a girl when we first dreamed of weddings and white dresses and bridesmaids and love. Jess, I’m so over the moon excited for you and Josh. What a good thing you both have found. And what a perfect day it was when you officially committed your hearts to one another. You were the most GORGEOUS bride!! And the whole day your heart just glowed with the joy you felt! And this girl on the right, is Jess’ sister! She just had her FOURTH sweet baby this past week, so you all will get to see pictures of that perfect babe soon!! The handsome groom! Josh, I couldn’t have picked a better guy for my friend! So glad you two found each other!!And his sweet son! Just the best kiddo!I’m telling you guys, this day was so full of joy!I don’t often share family photos on the blog, but this crew was like a second family to me growing up so I couldn’t resist! You can see more family photos in the video at the end of this post.I just adore these ladies!
Seriously Jess!! STUNNING!!!BEST!!!Jess said she wanted lots of photos, so I was happy to oblige with small spurts of portraits here and there. It doesn’t have to take a ton of time to grab gorgeous wall and album worthy portraits!Right before it was time for me to wrap up the ranch horses came over to visit. And you know I couldn’t resist grabbing a few photos with these 3! Jess and Josh, so incredibly happy for you both!! Thank you again for the privilege of being a part of your day!

Josh & Jessica | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
The old fashioned way – we had mutual friends!

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
For Josh & I both-having all of our best friends and family there celebrating with us & for me our vows and the ceremony was my favorite. It was all so beautiful and perfect with the beautiful Colorado snow covered foothills behind us and getting to have my sister sing at our wedding.

Funniest memory from your day?
We both agree: My cousin Truett and Graham (Josh’s son) taking a mid-ceremony pee break behind the nearby trees. G had to go and Truett took advantage of the bathroom break too! LOL!

What was your favorite detail?
I loved the way all of the decorations came together. White table linens with greenery on the tables and the greenery in the bridesmaids bouquets, my amazing green and white bouquet and the pop of color the girls shades of blue dresses came together! And can’t forget the white flower wall used as our photo booth!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
The only thing would be to have a 3-tier cake instead of a 4, just for the lessened risk of it falling over. (Melissa: This was such a bummer and happened before anyone got to see it really…but Jess and Josh were so amazing at remembering what was important…they weren’t phased a bit!)

Any advice for future brides and grooms?
The day goes so fast! Take time to pause and take it all in. Expect things to go wrong, just keep it all in perspective – only thing that really matters is celebrating marrying your best friend and love of your life with all of your friends and family.

Tell me about your honeymoon.
It was very special! We went to San Diego and I got to show Josh where I lived for five years; all of my favorite places and restaurants, breweries, wineries and beaches.
