Peter loves Jill | Destination Wedding Photographer

Oh my goodness!!! You guys are going to LOVVVVVVVVE this wedding!!! 😀 First, it was right on the pacific coast in Rachos Palos Verdes, California. Second, these two
.well, they’re just about the best you’ll ever encounter. The love and honor and JOY from this day is unbeatable. And besides
it was a BEAUTY-full day!!

Since this was a bit of a destination wedding, the wedding party and family’s all stayed down the road at the Terranea Resort. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend it! It was amazing. The bridesmaids were able to hang out in one of the casitas, and get lunch and hair and make up done.

Then we headed down the road to the
Trump National Golf Course
so Jill could get ready on site. LOVE this venue!! They were incredible to work with!
Meanwhile, back at the Terranea, Peter and the boys were getting ready as well.

That pin on Peter’s lapel
it’s from his grandpa’s navy days. Pretty cool.
Peter’s older brother Jim(my) was his best man, and that pic on the right is so effortlessly them. Love it. Ha!!

I LOVVVVE this groomsmen pic. Something about it
.

Jill made the mosssst gorgeous bride!

JILL!!! YOU are STUNNING, my friend!!

The girls!! <3
And the little girls! Oh.my.heart. These three are precious!!

I adore Jill’s parents. Really loved getting to be a fly on the wall for these moments. They gave Jill a new Bible inscribed with her married name and a hankie made with the lace from her mama’s wedding dress.

And Peter’s folks! Let me tell you, Peter is equally blessed with amazing parents. Also
how cool is that ceiling!?
And then
it was ceremony time!! 🙂 Check out the guest on the right with her jaw-dropped stare
I’m pretty sure that’s how EVERYONE felt upon seeing these adorable girls in their dresses.

This never gets old. <3
And this right here just might be my favorite hand-off moment EVER. Like EVERRRR.
They began their ceremony with prayer and a time of worship. Oh, and Jill & Peter, please frame this black and white on the left
mmmkay?

Their day and their relationship has lots of this:
MARRIEDDDDD!!!! 😀

I love these people!
And then we took the last few minutes of sun and grabbed some freshly married portraits.

Check out this gorgeous reception!

Jill & Peter, I can’t even begin to express what an amazing treasure it was for me to get to be a part of your wedding day! I have no words. Love you both!! XO!!

Peter & Jill

How did the two of you meet?
P & J: We met in college in San Dimas, CA

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
P: The moment when I saw Jill turn the corner with her dad. She was breathtaking and it was juts amazing.
J: My favorite memory was when we said our vows to each other during the ceremony. The day flew by, but it felt like time slowed down during those few wonderful minutes!

Funniest memory?
P: Yes – a hilariously inappropriate comment that I can’t mention here 😉
J: When I went to toss my bouquet, I accidentally threw it into the chandelier right above me
but I caught it when it came back down! Ha!

Favorite Detail?
P: I loved our venue. Having the ocean in the background was beautiful.
J: I have several favorite details; our ceremony arches and the ocean view, my flower girl dresses, the romantic candlelight and glitzy tables at our reception, the jazz band at our reception, how sharp our wedding party looked, the overall feel of our ceremony which was both spiritual and beautiful to name a few. 🙂  I loved our wedding!

If you could do it all over again, would you change anything?
P: No not a thing!
J: My hair and makeup didn’t look exactly how I wanted it too. It didn’t look bad, but I could have done a better job of communicating what I wanted if I’d used pictures and such. C’est la vie!

Any advice for future brides/grooms?
P: Yes! Just have fun. The day of the wedding, don’t let anything bother you. Don’t worry about things going wrong or details that you’ve been planning. On the day of the wedding, just picture your bride and enjoy every moment.
J: Do your best to stay on target with your planning timeline! The tasks can seem overwhelming, but the more planning you can get done well in advance, the better. You’ll be so glad when the wedding month/week arrives if you’ve already taken care of thank you cards, writing your vows, thinking through where family/friends from out of town will stay, and any other tasks/decisions you don’t want to have to think about when the big day is upon you!

Tell me about your honeymoon.
P: We went to Australia and had so much fun. A week on the beach by the barrier reef and a week in Sydney enjoying the sites of the city was exactly what we needed.
J:
Our honeymoon was completely and utterly dreamy! Peter surprised me with a trip to Australia, where we spent a week relaxing by the pool and a week sightseeing. It was perfect. The best two weeks of my entire life!
