Sweet Grant! I am so glad I got to meet you, and I’m so incredibly excited to get to watch you grow this year! And to big sis, Lilah…hi, my friend!! SO glad you brought your brother to see me! You’re such an amazing big sis, and I’m sure with all of your personality, you’re already teaching Grant how to win hearts and influence people. 😉

About a year ago, I had the privilege of meeting Lilah and her terrific parents when I photographed her to mark her 4th birthday. She is so, so much fun, so when her dad let me know that they were expecting and wanted to do a First Year Plan for Grant, I was over the moon. Grant is pure sweetness…and his newborn session didn’t disappoint!

Mr. Grant was calm as can be…I don’t think he ever got upset…and while he was awake in the beginning, he was just happy to be there so we decided to photograph him while he got good and sleepy.

…and waited for those slow blinks…

…and BIG yawns. 🙂

Then he gave me this face. Ha!! He must have decided that I wasn’t going to leave him alone after all.
