This session is quite possibly one of my favorite senior girl sessions EVER. Emily was up for anything, which I always love, brought lots of outfit and accessory choices, and the sky, which had poured moments earlier, opened up with the most beautiful light right in time for her session. All of that, and she brought along her burro, Zeb! Emily’s family have been involved in Pack Burro Racing, a sport that is indigenous to Colorado, for several generations. If you have time, check out the gallery at the Pack Burro Racing website. These competitors are hard core! Emily has been competing with this particular burro quite successfully this year, so the two had a special bond. It was really neat to see and such a fun thing to be able to take pictures of. I’m so glad Emily and her mom thought to ask about including Zeb in the last portion of her session. Adding that personal touch definitely helped to make her photos unique to her, and I know they will treasure them forever.
SarahMelissa! These photos are fantastic!! This senior should LOVE the way they turned out. I love the way you captured the light behind her and yet lit her so well from the front. Super impressed.
NinaSuch a beautiful girl! These are SO great, Melissa!
