I was so honored when Jeff & Carla asked me to photograph their wedding. They’re the kind of people that you like instantly and feel like you’ve known them forever after just one conversation. And somehow, while making everyone else around them feel treasured and special, they love each other like they are the only two around.

Jeff & Carla, your wedding day was a treasure for me, and even now as I edit your wedding, I’m reminded how special it truly is to have found your someone. I hope you love your sneak peek! Congratulations to you both!!

There was a park across the street from the church with a rose garden which served as an awesome backdrop.

The girls were so good about acting like it was a gorgeous breezy day, but I’m telling you right now, it was BLAZING HOT. Like, really. So I was super thankful for the large covered entrance to the church when we couldn’t stand the heat any longer! 🙂

Aren’t Carla’s shoes amazing? And she wore them all day too! Bonus points.

The wedding reception wasn’t until later in the evening, so we had plenty of time for fun and pictures with the wedding party.

Carla & Jeff decided they needed some pictures for facebook, and for posterity, what could be better at this very moment than planking?? So they did. So funny. I got in for a quick shot right after the iPhones. 🙂
