They make each other better… When they’re together, he puts her at ease, her eyes light up and he exudes quiet confidence. He makes her laugh, and that makes him smile.

I’ve known Brad(ley) for quite a while now. He’s our Pastors’ son, and he was in the first graduating class of our youth group when Cary and I were youth pastors. I’ve watched him grow up and come into his own, but never quite so much as when he brought Amber home to visit for the first time. I was so honored to get to photograph Brad & Amber’s California wedding in Orange County. Mariner’s Church, Irvine, was a gorgeous background for their midday ceremony and reception. The campus and wedding chapel are truly gorgeous, and the overcast skies made for beautiful light all around. They were super excited about capturing their day through photography and they allowed plenty of time for photographs throughout the day…as well as after their wedding at a “Day After” style photo session at Laguna…but that sneak peek will come in a few days. 🙂

Brad & Amber opted to have a “First Look” before the ceremony. I love when a bride & groom decide to do this! It allows them an intimate moment together with no one else around (except me at a distance with my camera :)), sets them at ease and allows for plenty of time for pictures.

I had SO much fun with this wedding party. 🙂
