Jared loves Jennifer | Golden Gate Canyon State Park Wedding

When I first met Jennifer to talk about her wedding day, she told me she wanted it to have a backyard feel and a mountain view. She wanted their very closest friends and family to be present for a super special, no-stress, non-traditional wedding day. Think backyard games in the mountains, throw in tacos, and you’re there! What a fun, intimate day this was!!

Jared and Jenn held their ceremony on the Panorama Point deck, and their ceremony was incredibly sweet.Jenn’s laughter…it’s my favorite! She was the HAPPIEST bride!!
After the ceremony, they joined their guests at the red barn down the road. There’s a perfect little park around it, that fit Jenn and Jared’s vision so well!Jared & Jennifer, I so loved celebrating your wedding day with you! It was perfect!

Jared & Jennifer | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
We are the happy result of online dating.  Neither one of us were having luck being set up or have professions that make it easy to meet someone so we risked it and put ourselves out there online.  Our paths would have never crossed otherwise!

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Jennifer:  I think for me it was standing at the end of the aisle before walking down.  I was standing with my Dad and just took a deep breathe to take it all in.  The beautiful view, my friends and family standing all around and of course my handsome guy waiting for me at the end of the aisle.
Jared:  I liked it when Jennifer took my hands because I didn’t really know what to do.

Funniest memory from your day?
Jennifer:  I don’t know if it was the funniest but it was the sweetest.  When it was time to kiss the bride we had the traditional kiss but then Jared leaned in and said “I’m going to dip you” and he once again swept me off my feet and made me smile.  He always does little things to surprise me like that. One of the many reasons I love him.
Jared:  I think the funniest is us having trouble remembering some of our lines for the ceremony and Charlie showing up in Crocks.

What was your favorite detail?
Jennifer: I loved the location of our wedding.  It was so beautiful at the top of Panorama Point.  Outdoors in the mountains with an amazing view  was something we knew we wanted.
Jared:  Jennifer did everything.  Everything was a surprise to me.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Jennifer: Nope, it was exactly what I wanted.  Beautiful location and day and I got to marry my guy.  The minor details that didn’t go exactly as planned just made the day ours.
Jared: Just turn the temperature down a few degrees.  It was warm at the reception.

Any advice for future brides and grooms?
Don’t worry about what traditions you are supposed to follow or what other people have done for their wedding.  Include what you know you will love and leave out things that you don’t think you need for your day.  Remember what is important.  You found your special someone.

Tell me about your honeymoon.
We kind of did things backwards.  We planned an awesome vacation last March.  We went on an amazing  cruise through the Caribbean.  That’s where Jared proposed, on our balcony at sunset in the middle of the Caribbean.  Then we got married 6 months later.  We definitely have plans to go on more adventures but have to save up for it first
