Jeff loves Natascha | Mount Vernon Canyon Club Wedding Photographer

Sweet Natascha!! This amazing girl was a bridesmaid at a wedding I did several years ago, and when she got engaged, I was so glad to be among one of the first calls she made! She is so full of joy…that stands out so big in my memory of first meeting her, and even a year ago, the thought of photographing her day getting married to this boy that she’s loved for so long, well, it just about made my heart swoon!purple-chiffon-wedding
Natascha wore these amazing wedge Birkenstocks that you can see a bit in this photo…they were perfect for her, and she swears they were comfortable all day. I want a pair. And also!! This amazing bracelet, her something borrowed, was her mama’s (given by her husband, I believe?? Natascha, am I right!?), and it’s the most incredibly intricate work of art. Such a cool piece!birkenstocks and pearls wedding

These girls were amazing! Such a fun crew!! And so fun to see old friends! Hi Jess and Anna!

These two…they’re BEST friends. I can’t get over how many images I have where I caught them stealing perfect moments during this day. Keep loving each other just.like.this.
Loved that they had their sweet pup, Kona, brought up for a few photos! She’s such a big part of their adventures.

And then it was time for a few final touches before the ceremony.
Are you kidding me with this view!?

Oh, Natascha, I just adore you!! Your joy just radiates from you, and I LOVE IT!!

We got these two off to the reception for dinner and then, while the guests finished their dinner, we took a few quiet minutes…this is always so worth it!

Jeff and Natascha LOVE the great outdoors. Their honeymoon was a lifetime of a trip to Alaska! Their decor was SO fitting for them!! And the flowers were grown especially for this day by Natascha’s incredible dad!

This group can DANCE!! And Natascha’s gown had the most amazing twirly skirt!!

Seriously now! Look at her feet barely touching the floor! SO FUN!!

Jeff and Natascha! This was the BEST DAY!! Thank you for making us a part and trusting us with your memories!! Such a sweet treat for me!

Jeff & Natascha | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
We met as college interns launching rockets at United Launch Alliance. However, our relationship didn’t “blast off” until the following year.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Natascha: I loved having our dog, Kona, there for some pictures. She was totally oblivious to the significance of the day and reminded me to be in the moment.
Jeff: Being surrounded by everyone who has been special to us throughout our lives, dancing to “Thank God I’m a Country Boy”, and the shoe game.

Funniest memory from your day?
Natascha: Eating our cake – I tried kissing Jeff and he said, “hold on, just one more bite!” (Our cake was delicious!)
Jeff: Kona pooping during photos (goes back to Natascha’s favorite memory) and everyone being goofy in the photo booth.

What was your favorite detail?
Natascha: Everything was perfect! But I really loved the rock blessing during our ceremony. We have the jar with everyone’s rocks in our home.
Jeff: Natascha’s dress.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nope!

Any advice for future brides and grooms?
Natascha: We had a welcome picnic the night before and loved that we were able to see most of our guests in a casual atmosphere before the wedding. It took some of the pressure off the big day! Also, I would recommend planning the big things as early as possible!
Jeff: Be prepared for how emotional it is to be surrounded by everyone (good thing, but was a surprise)

Tell me about your honeymoon.
Where to begin?! We went to Alaska and it was beyond amazing! We will be blogging about it over the coming weeks at takepicturesleavefootprints.com
