We LOVED this wedding!!! LOVED IT. First, the venue is fairly fresh…open for about a year now, and it’s just gorgeous!! If you are looking for a spot in South Denver for your wedding, definitely check out The Barn at Raccoon Creek in Littleton, Colorado! The cottage where the girls get ready has the MOST gorgeous light!! The grounds for the ceremony are so lovely, and the barn for receptions is SUPER fun!!  Second,  Kelly was a bridesmaid in MJ and Lydia’s wedding earlier this year (along with a few other bridesmaids and guests)…how fun is that!? It was like photographing the wedding of a friend…I feel like all of my brides become friends, but it’s pretty amazing when you get to start the wedding day as friends!

And the details…oh the details….maybe some of my favorites to date.








Kelly was a RADIANT bride!! 






Tyler had the sweetest response to his bride coming down the aisle. Boy does he love this girl.



I still can’t get over how gorgeous this day was! ♥

Tyler and Kelly took a quiet moment while their guests headed to the cocktail hour. I was so glad they let me stand in the corner.
Their was a gorgeous fiery orange sunset thanks to the California wild fires…that sounds really weird…but the light was pretty fantastic.







After grabbing a few portraits, we caught the tail end of their perfect cocktail hour before heading in to the reception.
Did I mention the details??

And the toasts!!!? Seriously, their wedding party was SO much fun!! The best man came with props….namely Tyler’s 14 year old….I mean SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL wrestling photo! I knew I loved these people!! 
And also…these two met dancing…and they are VERY good. VERY.


It was the best party, and the best day. Tyler and Kelly, I can’t even say what a privilege it was to be a part. All of our love to you two!! ♥

Tyler & Kelly | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
B&G: We met through mutual friends. One of my best friends had an older brother that was one of Tyler’s friends. We were gathered together at a “family dinner”. Got to give credit to the Perkins family!

What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
B: Walking down the aisle and seeing Tyler crying like a baby! I had no idea he would be so emotional.
G: First dance!

Funniest memory from your day?
B: When it came time to exchange the rings and Tyler and all the groomsmen pretended to have lost the ring. Finally the best man pulls it out of his boot. Which is what happened when Tyler proposed, he dropped the ring in my boot!
G: Hearing the Best man speech and seeing the picture of me during high school wrestling.

What was your favorite detail?
B: The chalk boards were my favorite.  They were such cute decorations and made everything a little more fun!
G: All the decorations and the wedding venue setting.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
B: I wish the wedding could have been longer!  It just all went by so fast.
G: Not a thing!

Any advice for future brides/grooms?
B: Don’t sweat the small stuff! It’s your day and it goes by so fast. Enjoy every second!
G: Don’t blink because once the wedding day comes, its over before you know it.

Tell me about your honeymoon.
B: We went to Moorea, an island just off of Tahiti. It was perfect! Lots of good food, sleep and sun!  And great company of course.
G: Our honeymoon was awesome and all we did was relax and sleep!  The weather was beautiful and the water was crystal clear!
