Their day began in Golden, CO surrounded with friends and family all working together to make it magical. Even while the preparations were being made, the day was marked with laughter and joy. What an amazing day to be a part of.

How did you meet?
Gary and I met at work.

What was your most memorable memory of your wedding day?

Gary: Sherry’s Grandmother telling stories about when she was little.
Sherry: I took my bestie’s advise and made sure to stop and enjoy every moment from walking down the aisle, our first dance, cutting the cake. It was all amazing but seeing Gary waiting for me at the end of the aisle was the most amazing part of the day!

Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Gary & Sherry: Marry your best friend. Being with that person should be easy & effortless.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Gary: Telling Melissa that there were snakes in the grass during our photos
Sherry: The wardrobe malfunction with one of the bridesmaids….priceless

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Gary: Not a thing! It was a perfect day:)
Sherry: I would change worrying about everything being perfect. At the end of the day I married the man I love and it didn’t matter if everything was perfect or not!

Tell me about your honeymoon?
We went to Hawaii!
Gary: I loved the hotel in Maui the best. Learning how to body surf and utilizing my new swimming skills.
Sherry: I loved the fact that Gary learned how to swim so we could enjoy the ocean together. I am so proud of him!

What was your favorite detail?
Gary & Sherry: Seeing everything come together and sharing our day with all our family and friends!
