Stephen loves Brittany | Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer

Stephen & Brittany are so much fun! They love to laugh, and completely set each other at ease. This May, in front of their family and friends, they said “I do, forever” in a little park in Woodland Park. It was a blustery Colorado day in the mountains, but the storms that threatened split over their ceremony site and allowed the wedding to go on just as planned. It was as if God personally saw fit to bless their day as they committed to one another.

They were SOOOO happy to be getting married.  😀

The wedding had a touch of a 1920’s theme, so right at the end of the wedding party photos, they busted out the props.

Once the dancing had begun, her dad disappeared for a bit, and when he returned, he was decked out in a 1920’s bathing suit.
Mr. & Mrs. Anderson, 😀 it was such an honor to photograph your wedding! I hope your images are a treasure for a lifetime! Much love to you both!!

How did the two of you meet?
Well, we met online through Christian Mingle. I sent him an email then an hr later emailed me back we did this for a couple of times, then he sent me his phone number, we texted for a couple of hours talked on the phone for 3 hours that night, he came over the next day and we have been inseparable since.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Stephen: Making her sign my vows.
Brittany: During the ceremony, it was when we were listening to the wedding message my aunt wrote. During the reception, it was when my dad came out in the bathing suit and all the other random costumes that came out.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Stephen: Let others help you out and make sure all the little things are covered.
Brittany: Remain relaxed and calm and there is not need to get nervous. There are plenty of people around you that day that can help get things done so you can focus.
If you could do it all over again, would you change anything?
Stephen: All of the last minute running around.
Brittany: Not a thing! The day was perfect!!!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Stephen & Brittany: When being announced as Mr. and Mrs. we were boo…for our Jerseys we were wearing. As far as I know we are the only couple to ever be boo at their own wedding.
What was your favorite detail?
Stephen & Brittany: The reception table settings were amazing!! Down to every last detail!
