We’ve had our two pups, Maggie and Fisher, for almost as long as we’ve been married, but in January we had to put our oldest pup, Maggie, down. She was 17 and had such a good life. We’d planned on being a one dog family for a bit. We have four kiddos and our life is just a bit fast paced, like most of America, so it felt okay. But then one Friday a few weeks ago, a friend posted her friend’s brand new puppies and they needed homes. They were adorable and gave me pause, and to be honest, one of them caught my heart the very first time I saw him. It took some cajoling, but Cary was pretty quickly on board and the very next Monday, we welcomed Moose into our home. He’s been the easiest, best and perfect addition. Come to find out, he was born just a few days after we had to put Maggie down, and it feels as if he was created just for us. And of course, when you get a brand new baby….you have to take pictures. ♥ Meet Moose.

He’s the sweetest yorkie-poo.
He’s obviously pretty tolerant, which is so important given how many families and kiddos come into our home.
