Jeff loves Jenn | Granby Wedding Photographer

I could photograph weddings like Jeff and Jenn’s every day and be completely happy. They gathered those closest to them, took time for each other and peppered memories and heritage and tokens of who they are throughout their day. It made the day genuine, emotion filled and effortless and so completely special.

I absolutely love weddings up at Granby Ranch. The view is breathtaking in every direction, and the feel is just so laid back, leaving room for love to be soaked up and memories to be made.

I just loved the simplicity of Jenn’s gown and bouquet. So gorgeous!!

This veil was worn by Jenn’s sisters and mom and grandma. It was just one of the fantastic personal touches to their day.

This adorable star on the flower girl’s bouquet was in memory of Jenn’s nephew.

The best groomsmen toasts always seem to start with Johnnie Walker Blue.

I loved how Jenn’s veil danced over them during the ceremony!

During the recessional, Jenn surprised everyone by having the musician pull out a set of bag pipes to play “When Irish Eyes are Smiling”. I mean come on!! Bag pipes playing for all to hear on top of a mountain!? It was AWESOME!!

This view is hard to beat!

These stolen moments are often my favorite.

I love chairlift pictures. Like I love them.

Jenn and her family are Irish Dancers!!!!! I loved this so much.

And of course we had to steal away for a few more pics in the gorgeous wildflowers and Jenn’s reception dress!

This reception was a PARTY. And it was so much fun!! The dancing spontaneously started before dinner was even finished. Such a blast!

Jenn and Jeff, I hope you always hold so tightly to one another. XO!!

Jeff & Jenn | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
We met at the Kentucky Derby Party downtown (Denver). He came up to me, we started chatting, and he asked if we could grab coffee or ‘meet up’ sometime… so I gave him my number. He contacted me later that day and told me we should definitely hang out – it would be “EPIC”. (It was/IS!!!)

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
I have so many – it was a magical day. Top two are walking through the aspen trees with my dad on the way to the alter and standing with Jeff on top of that mountain feeling so much love from him and our loved ones who celebrated with us.

Funniest memory from your day?
Not necessarily funny, but I smile when I recall images of my East Coast family taking turns wearing my cowboy hat and dancing around with it on…their hands in the air.

What was your favorite detail?
I loved walking down the aisle as a married couple as the Bagpiper played “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Not a thing. I only wish the weekend could have been longer so I had more time to soak up that feeling of being with family and friends and celebrating my love for Jeff.

Any advice for future brides and grooms?
Keep it simple and make sure you day is truly an expression of who you are as a couple. Sharing your uniqueness with loved ones gives the celebration that much more meaning.
