Andy loves Jaime | Denver Wedding Photographer

We started wedding season off with a bang around here with Andy and Jaime’s May wedding! You may remember these two from their super fun downtown engagement session. As this year has gone, it was a crazy Colorado spring weather day, but somehow, that just added to the excitement and joy of the day…and made for some gorgeous photos! It rained all morning and even hailed, but by the time the ceremony had wrapped up, the sky had cleared just enough and shined on Andy and Jaime’s gorgeous day.

These bottom two photos were Jaime’s something borrowed’s…they were her grandmothers’. I just love little pieces of history like these!
How gorgeous is Jaime’s dress and her Badgley Mischka heels!? I might have squealed.
Hi Luke!!

I loved Jaime’s garters! They were so delicate and pretty.
Since the rain was coming down pretty steady, we found a hallway with huge windows for their first look…I’m not gonna lie…I kind of love these.

Then we headed to Holy Ghost Church for the ceremony…but not before taking advantage of the cool windows across the street.
I sure have loved having my husband Cary with me for most of our weddings during the last few wedding seasons!! This amazing view from the balcony couldn’t have been captured without him. If you look reeeeeal close, you can see teeny tiny me in the front of the aisleholy ghost church wedding denver

MARRIED!!

Can I just take a moment to talk about how amazing my brides are??? Jaime had the option of staying on dry-ish ground for wedding party photos or heading into the pasture with the perfect trees that was muddy, and she chose the field. SO HAPPY!!denver wedding photographer
I love me some big wedding parties!

Gosh I just adore you guys! And Jaime…you were one STUNNING bride!!!

These next two images…they’re Cary’s. I love that he’s able to grab the in between moments.

Andy & Jaime | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
Jaime: I was his waitress and Andy’s cousin was my manager, and she introduced us.
Andy: Jaime was my Hooters Girl.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Andy: Seeing Jaime for the first time.
Jaime: Our first look..it was really special for me to see my groom for the first time with just us (and our amazing photographers)! I am so glad we did a first look before the ceremony.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Andy: Focus on enjoying the day and don’t worry about making things perfect.
Jaime: Don’t stress the small things, and definitely enjoy every moment…it goes by WAY. TOO. FAST!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Andy: Luke screaming at the church. He was exhausted and even though he didn’t make it down the aisle as the ring bearer, everyone knew he was there by the screaming. You can hear him on our wedding video also.
Jaime: Our wedding party finishing a bottle of fireball in 5 minutes on the party bus. And when Andy and I were singing “North to Alaska” on the bus.. I don’t think anyone knew the song except us.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Andy: Not a darn thing!
Jaime: I would have Luke take a nap and hang out at home until the ceremony!
What was your favorite detail?
Andy: Jaime’s hair.
Jaime: Luke’s baby tuxedo…even though he didn’t wear it long and barely anyone saw it! It was the cutest thing ever and I LOVE that him and Andy matched!
Tell me about your honeymoon.
Andy: TBD
Jaime: Planning to go on one in the winter!
Look! There’s four of us! That guy on the right sure makes me look good. Jaime & Andy, thanks for making us a part of your day! Truly, such a privilege!!
