Adam loves Leah | Parker Colorado Wedding Photographer

2015 has been a year of weddings to remember for me. I’ve had the best couples, and the most BEAUTIFUL venues; the most fantastic vendors, and the greatest families and groups of friends! Adam and Leah’s wedding day definitely fit all of these qualifications and more! I’ve had the privilege of photographing lots of Leah’s family members, and every single time it’s a treat for me. This wedding day was just spectacular. Adam and Leah did the very best job of paying attention to what mattered…getting married to each other, promising forever…and that truly makes for the best wedding day EVER. The fact that all of the details were in place only made their day even more perfect.

I kind of love getting to watch guests’ shenanigans as they wait for the wedding to start.

Go time!!

Leah, you were SUCH a gorgeous bride!!

For their unity ceremony, Adam and Leah took dirt from their parents and grandparents homes and potted a plant together. Such a cool idea!!

MARRIED!!!
Adam, his father, and his grandfather are (were) all firefighters, so it was only appropriate to have vintage fire trucks!!

Love this!!

In case you can’t tell…their wedding party was FANTASTIC!!

We took a break during dinner for a few portraits of just the two of them:

And then it was back to the reception to dance the night away! ♥

Adam and Leah, what a privilege it was to get to photograph your wedding day!! I just LOVE you guys!!

Adam & Leah | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
We met at our first job out of college. We worked for the Town of Parker. I, Leah, was on the parks division and Adam worked for the stormwater division. He used to drive by the parks he knew I was working at just to see me. We started dating 2 months later and have been inseparable ever since.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Our favorite memory from the wedding was seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle. We decided not to do a first look and we were so glad we didn’t. That moment was as wonderful and unforgettable as we both had always wanted it would be.

Funniest memory from your day?
Adam’s garter toss dance was priceless! He had me laughing so hard…. And blushing!

What was your favorite detail?
Our favorite detail of the wedding was the setting. The venue was stunningly beautiful. It gave the day such a romantic and almost fairytale like feel.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
The only thing I would have changed was I would have spent less time worrying about all the little details and more time just enjoying the engagement. On the day of the wedding I didn’t even notice the details I had put so much stress and time into. Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Any advice for future brides and grooms?
1. Prioritize which parts of your big day will mean the most to each of you before you start planning. 2. Don’t forget your wedding is all about the two of you and no one else. 3. On your day remember to take a moment to sit back and take it all in. It’s a crazy and busy day, but you put so much effort into planning it so don’t forget to ENJOY it too! 4. Don’t sweat the small stuff… No matter what happens, at the end of the day you will be married to your best friend. 5. When things don’t go quite as planned, just remember it makes your day that much more memorable. As we always say in my family… It’s a memory moment!

Tell me about your honeymoon.
We weren’t able to go on a honeymoon right away because Adam is in firefighting academy (yay!) but we are planning to take one around our first anniversary. We did spend the night at the Broadmoor and had an incredible breakfast and couples massage the next morning.
