Tony loves Kori | Castle Rock, Colorado Wedding Photographer

Tony & Kori….the way their faces light up when they’re together….the way laughter comes so easily…the way they’re shoulders ease and they’re joy becomes palpable….they’re perfect together!! And the five kids they’ve brought together, well it’s like every family should  be.

Once everyone was ready, the coordinator, Terri, got the kids rounded up and into golf carts while Tony and Kori took time for a first look….and what a sweet moment it was!

They exchanged such heartfelt gifts.

In the frame are the napkins Tony & Kori exchanged the night they first met!

And then we joined the kids in the golf cart to head out for some brand new family photos.

And then it was WEDDING TIME!!!

This was such a sweet give away!

The ceremony had quite the view!

I LOVE THESE!!!! I come from a family with 5 kids too…and some of our best memories are all wrapped up in crazy fun photos! Oh and that bottom right photo….Jenna, you win!!

The reception was so much fun! Good food, a serious cake fight and LOTS of dancing!!

Tony & Kori, what an honor it was to photograph your wedding! You have such an amazing family, and it was such a treat to watch as you begin your forever together!

Tony & Kori | In their own words…

How did the two of you meet?
K: I was out with a friend chatting away and catching up. Tony was sitting on the other side of her watching the Rockies game and eating dinner. As I was talking with my friend, I kept noticing him. Another guy from the other end of the bar wanted to buy my friend and I a shot. We had told the bartender no, but the guy insisted. Tony overheard and after a bit of discussion wit the bartender, looked over to smile and say, “You should just take it and make the guy happy.” I looked at him, caught in his smile, and said we do it, you do it. We ended up talking forever and then danced the night away.
T: Our paths happened to cross on July 3, 2013 while I was grabbing dinner and she was with a friend. We started chatting about life, love and family and knew we were connected when we started talking about the five love languages.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
K: Seeing Tony during our first look. He was standing there so handsome with tears in his eyes. His love for me just radiated at that moment. Then as we walked together up to see our kids, they were so excited and looked just amazing. Hearing them yell- “Daddy, you look so handsome!” “Mom, you look awesome!” Tony bent in to hug Syd and then away we went on the golf carts. I will never forget everyone’s excitement!!
T: The whole day was amazing!!! The first look of my bride, our first dance and having all of our kids so involved and part of the entire day.

Funniest memory from your day?
K: Jenna’s little trip after the sand ceremony. The kids getting so excited about the cake- they loved the smashing in the face, so then the boys did it to Tony…
T: The kids fumbling with the sand unity ceremony but when it came to game time, they delivered!

What was your favorite detail?
K: Having my son and my dad walk me down the aisle. Dancing back down to Footloose and our first dance.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
K: Slow the day down.
T: Nothing at all! It was amazing. Even when God cried a little at the ceremony.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?
K: Don’t get caught up in the details, let others help you and just enjoy!
T: Trust the professionals. Hire the right people and they will make you so happy with the results.

Tell me about your honeymoon.
K: We are looking forward to going in November!!
T: Soon to come…heading to the Dominican Republic when it gets cold in Colorado!
